SPAC has had another exciting and successful year and I am thankful to all those who contributed. From the January Tea through the February Mini Workshops to the Workshops by the Sea and the fabulous SPAC Show, not forgetting our collaboration with Shutterbugs for the Points of View challenge, our year has been a very busy and entertaining one. Learning from visiting artists and our own featured members at each monthly meeting and reading Art Chat each month have kept us up to date with all the arts news. Outreach to the local community continued with our Saanich Peninsula Hospital Art Program, Student Scholarship and Brentwood Bay Library Art Program. Many of the Chairs, including myself, have taken on new duties this year and, I think, have shown that the SPAC spirit endures and grows on into our 67th year. There is always room for new voices and ideas within our group and we look forward to seeing many members at the Annual General Meeting in October which marks the beginning of a new season of Saanich Peninsula Arts and Crafts!

This is really exciting as we can all show samples of our artwork on it – a perfect and easy way to show our talent to the world. There will be lots of links to art magazine articles, seminars & videos and tips on art making. Everyone is invited to contribute. FYI – Susan will help with ‘technical issues’!
